As a school, Real Estate Trainers try’s to emphasis the need for education; learning foundational information to better the students chances of passing the state exam, and making it in the world of real estate. As an Instructor, I appreciate the students who attend these Crash Courses with this foundational knowledge as it just makes a better learning environment for all.
As I gazed upon the group of 50 who were about to take the state exam, pass the test and embark on a new career my eye caught these two attendees that seemed to be struggling through the material. Obviously they did not come from RET’s pre-license program.
Upon completion of the Crash Course, after all the students had left the two attendees had come back into the room to ask a few questions. They informed me that they had taken their pre-requisite courses at a real estate office where they didn’t learn a thing. The person in charge of the program handed them cheat sheets with the answers to the final exams, and the “class” was about an hour per night where the Broker brought in a producing agent who spoke about how wonderful the Brokers office was to work for and other nonsense. These two students were extremely concerned about passing, and asked if they should reschedule.
It is important that Brokers who conduct pre-license courses in their offices lay the foundation of real estate education in front of the students. The state exam is no longer a walk in the park. Successful students really need to know the information. That is why Real Estate Trainers is starting to partner with specific Brokers who understand this philosophy.
If you are a Broker, and you’re interested in offering the pre-license program to new recruits Real Estate Trainers has a new program that we’d like to discuss with you. Just call in to 800-282-2352 and let the person on the phone know you’d like to discuss this program further.
