How do I obtain my real estate license?
You are required to successfully complete three college-level courses (Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one elective course) and then pass the Salesperson State Exam. Click here for more info.
How long does it take to complete the courses?
The minimum time to complete courses according to the Department of Real Estate (DRE) is 18 calendar days per course. The minimum time to complete three courses would be 54 days from your enrollment date.
How long do I have to complete the courses?
One-Year of Enrollment. The maximum time allowed by the Department of Real Estate (DRE) for completion of your courses is 1 year from the date of enrollment. Completion of the course means taking and passing the course final examination.

How can I schedule my crash course if i bought a package?
By sending an email to [email protected], calling our office or through our website.
Do you submit my certification to the dre or do I?
We do not submit anything on your behalf to the DRE. We will provide you with your certification and you will need to submit it yourself on their online eLicensing website or through mail.
when should i schedule the crash course?
Once you schedule your exam date. The weekend before your state exam date.
Renewals
How long does it take to complete the whole package?
The courses can be completed in as little as, but no faster than, six days. Students are limited to completion of a maximum of 15 credit hours during any one 24 hour period.
How do I know what package to choose?
To determine if you are a First Time Renewal, you must have had your license issued four years ago. If you've had a license for more than that you're a Subsequent Renewal. If your license ever lapsed and you had to reinstate it, meaning you had to take the state exam again. That will reset you and you will now become a First time Renewal.
Do you send my certification to the dRE?
Unfortunately, we are not able to send the DRE anything on your behalf. We will email you a certificate of completion and you will need to submit it to them and pay your renewal fees. You can now use their online eLicensing portal.

How can I find out which courses I've already completed to obtain a Broker license?
You can contact the school you completed your courses with, or you can contact the DRE. The DRE keeps will have records of your licensing courses on file.
Do I qualify to apply for the Broker license
In order to qualify for the Broker State Exam, you must have either two years of full-time experience as a Salesperson within the last 5 years, or a 4-year degree (major or minor) in Real Estate. Additionally, you must complete a total of eight courses.
How long is the whole process?
The whole process can take months to complete. This includes finishing all the required courses and applying for the Broker state exam. It can typically take about 5-6 months.

How can I schedule the crash course to attend again?
How does the guarantee apply?
You will need to take the crash course and then take the exam. If you do not pass you will need to schedule the crash course again for a second time and then take the exam again. If you do not pass the Broker State Exam after two attempts, provided that you attended the crash course within one month before each attempt, you must send copies of both of your result notices and return your Broker Crash Course Textbooks to RET. As long as you did not void your guarantee and you are within your one year of enrollment from your date of purchase, your enrollment fee will be refunded. No refund if the crash course has expired.

What are the requirements for obtaining my mlo license?
In the state of California, working under the oversight of the DFPI or DRE, you must complete at least 20-hours of pre-licensing education and pass a challenging National Test with a score of 75% or better, to receive your Mortgage Loan Origination (MLO) designation.
How is the 20hr safe course coducted?
This is a live class held in Anaheim and through Zoom. It is on a weekend, Saturday through Monday. You must attend all three days in order to receive the hours. Once you complete the course we will bank your hours with the NMLS for you to receive credit for the class.
Can I attend both ANaheim and then another day on zoom?
It is required for you to attend consecutively for either Anaheim or Zoom. They each have a different approved course ID's, therefore you are not able to attend one day in person and another day through Zoom.
