Getting a Broker License

To get your California Real Estate Brokers License you must have at least two years of full-time real estate salesperson experience within the last 5 years, or have a 4-year college degree in Real Estate (either major or minor).

You must also complete 8 DRE-approved courses. We offer:

*If you ever completed Business Law, Economics, Accounting, Escrow, or Business Administration in college, then you can substitute them for Real Estate Economics, Mortgage Loan Brokerage & Lending, and Property Management.

Renewing a Broker License

Brokers must complete 45-hours of Continuing Education every 4 years. If you have special continuing education requirements, please call 800.282.2352 and ask to speak with a career counselor.
