NMLS Continuing Education Requirements:
The S.A.F.E. Act requires that California Mortgage Loan Originators must complete 8 hours of continuing education by December 31st of every year.
This NMLS Continuing Education 8 hour course consists of the following topics:
1) 2 hours of Nontraditional Mortgage Products - The Reverse Mortgage (Required Topic)
2) 2 hours of Ethics - Mortgage Fraud (Required Topic)
3) 3 hours of Law - RESPA Rules, Regulations, and Disclosure (Required Topic)
4) 1 hour of Income Analysis for the Self-Employed Borrower (Elective Topic)
Includes: Live NMLS Continuing Education Classroom Instruction, Key Terms, Summary and Quiz for each Chapter. Materials will be provided in class.
