What exactly are complex appraisals?  The answers can be different depending upon which party in the real estate/ lending pipeline is asked.  To the appraiser, realtor, lender, reviewer, underwriter, and title company complex appraisals are viewed differently.

Complex Appraisal A is a 7 hour appraiser course that focuses on two topics.  The first addresses being able to identify complex symptoms within the scope of work of the assignment.  Secondly, the course deals with sites having unusual characteristics. 

Complex Appraisal A may be taken with courses Complex Appraisal B and  Complex Appraisal C together with an exam and be used for 20 hours of upgrade education towards to Certified Residential (AR).
