Basic Appraiser Education
If you do not have an appraisal license:
You must complete 150 hours of Basic Education made up of these 7 Courses. Each course includes the student requirement of passing an exam.
Passing these 7 courses are necessary in order to meet the 2008 AQB (Appraiser Qualifications Board) requirements prior to the student applying for the State Appraisal Exam.
The 7 Basic Education courses are eligible for multiple course discount pricing.
However, each of the 7 Basic Education courses may not be split into shorter Continuing Education class segments and treated as multiple classes for purposes of discount pricing.
After receiving an appraisal license, the appraiser is then eligible to receive credit for the shorter Continuing Education 7 & 14 hour courses.
